Graduate Assistant - Strength and Conditioning
Required Qualifications:
Time Frame of Assistantship:
The successful graduate student can work, while continuing to meet required qualifications as well as satisfactory performance in the graduate program and in the assistantship area.
The successful graduate student should expect to work more than ten (10) but less than twenty (20) hours each week.
Compensation:
$1,000/month
Tuition waiver offered.
Duties and/or Responsibilities:
This position may:
Assist with strength and conditioning for athletic teams
Work with head strength coach to develop workouts for various teams
Be in coordination of all strength training routines for both women's and men's teams
Assist in maintenance and cleaning up Ben Frank Performance Center
Assist with other equipment maintenance, as needed and requested
Assist in recruitment of student athletes by:
assisting with campus visits
Assist with academic guidance to student athletes, including study tables
Assist Head Coach(es) with other duties as may be assigned
