    Job Summary/Basic Functions

    The Graduate Assistant (GA) will play a key role in supporting strategic initiatives related to educational research, professional development for teachers, and school programs. The GA will assist in planning, implementing, and assessing workshops, trainings, and research activities aligned with the departments goals.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Bachelors degree
    • Currently enrolled in a graduate program at EKU

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Demonstrated experience or interest in educational research, professional development, and/or assessment.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with data analysis tools.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks independently.

    Job Duties:

    • Research Assistance

    • Support data collection, literature reviews, and analysis for research projects.

    • Assist with writing reports, presentations, and publications.

    • Maintain organized documentation and research files for ongoing and future projects.

    • Professional Development Support

    • Assist in planning and facilitating professional development workshops, training sessions, and events for Model faculty.

    • Coordinate logistics for events, including materials preparation and post-event feedback.
