Position Title: Graduate Assistant Coach - Mens & Womens Nordic Ski

FLSA: Exempt

Primary Responsibilities

St. Lawrence University is currently seeking applications for a Graduate Assistant Coach for Mens & Womens Nordic Ski. This is a 9-month position August 2026 - May 2027 targeted toward graduate students seeking a masters degree.

Remuneration includes a competitive coaching stipend, student health insurance, and eligibility for tuition remission (6 graduate classes per year in the Universitys graduate program). St. Lawrence offers a Master of Arts in Leadership.

Duties/Responsibilities

Responsibilities include providing instruction and assisting with the day-to-day operation of the program including but not limited to:

• Athlete development
• Social media
• Recruiting
• Equipment management
• Travel
• Technique feedback
• Other administrative duties.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelors degree is required
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Valid drivers license and ability to meet the requirements to drive University vehicles required.
• Must apply and be accepted into the graduate program at St. Lawrence University.

Preferred Qualifications

• Collegiate playing and/or coaching experience preferred.

Salary

$888 biweekly
