About the Unit:
10 East West (10EW at UPMC Montefiore is a 30-bed acuity adaptable General Medicine Unit. Our diverse patient population of both step-down and monitored patients can include hepatology, urology, endocrinology, post-surgical complications, pulmonary, infectious disease and many more. This teaching unit is a great fit for graduate nurses and nurses seeking to gain inpatient experience and/or expand their clinical knowledge. Our RNs work a rotating schedule. Our partnership with our medical teaching teams include daily multidisciplinary bedside rounds and collaboration with discharge planning.
