    TASKS: • Recruit the entirety of the Graduate incoming classes • Review documents for admission including applications, references, test scores, testim onies, and transcripts • Build interdepartmental relationships across campus • Clearly communicate the advantages of the University of Toccoa Falls to prospective stud ents and other relevant parties • Communicate with a positive attitude regarding UTF and its programs • Supervise and train student workers to perform data entry, make phone calls, and achieve communi cated goals • Meet with prospective students during campus visits • Travel to relevant conferences/events for Distance Education and School of Graduate Studies • Seek, attend, and create new opportunities to present the graduate program • Coordinate with the Vice President for Distance Education and Director of Marketing on advertising efforts • Present opportunities for cross-crediting graduate courses to current UTF students • Meet performance goals as established by the Director of Distance Education Enrollment and VP for Distance Education • Offer support and training to all advisors of UTF undergraduate students on how to effectively promote UTF 's graduate programs to current undergraduate students. • Develop knowledge of the UTF academic catalog with special emphasis toward programs, admiss ion, and financial aid information • Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Distance Education Enrol lment and VP for Distance Education SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES: • Strong work ethic, integrity, and a positive attitude • Honorable personal and professional conduct and spiritual maturity • Efficient time management and communication skills • Ability to work in a demanding, goal-oriented environment • Enthusiasm to travel across Georgia to high schools • Empathetic, service-oriented interpersonal skills • Alignment with the mission and vision of the University of Toccoa Falls EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION: A bachelor's degree is required; a master's degree is preferred.

    Approved by: Andrew Thorne, Vice President for Distance Education Last Revised: 09/2026 Position Title: Graduate Admissions Counselor Reports to: Director of Distance Education Enrollment Appointment: Full-time, Salaried, Non-exempt POSITION SUMMARY: The Graduate Admissions Counselor is responsible for the recruitment of all graduate student s by representing the University of Toccoa Falls with excellent, knowledgeable, and timely customer service. This position wil l promote the Chapman School of Graduate Studies by actively seeking, developing, and maintaining relationships with organizations relevant to the programs offered. This position reports directly to the Director of Distance Education Enrollment and will work close ly with the Distance Education Team and School of Graduate Studies.
