Government Property & Compliance Specialist

Contract 9/80 Work Schedule.  MUST be a US Citizen

Clearance:  Active Secret is Required

Working = Remote or Hybrid

Contract length 6-24 months

The Government Property Data Specialist manages, tracks, and reconciles Government-Furnished Property (GFP) and Contractor-Acquired Property (CAP) throughout its lifecycle.

This position serves as the functional expert for data entry, validation, and reporting within key government systems such as the PIEE, GFP Module, and other platforms. The ideal candidate ensures full compliance with FAR and DFARS property management regulations, drives audit readiness, and acts as a key liaison between program management and other functional areas to maintain a reliable property accountability posture.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain complete and accurate records of GFP and CAP.
  • Manage property records within PIEE modules (GFP, WAWF).
  • Utilize government systems and databases to research, track, and report property information.
  • Review, reconcile and maintain property documentation, records, and databases for accuracy and compliance.  
  • Assist with property accountability, transfers, loss reporting, disposition, and other GFP-related actions.
  • Identify discrepancies and assist with corrective actions to maintain accurate property records.
  • Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and status updates for customers and internal stakeholders.

 

Qualifications:

  • ?3–5?years of experience property management in a government setting.
  • Working knowledge of FAR 45, 52.245-1, DFARS 252.211-7003 and 252.245-7003.
  • Familiarity with asset management software platforms.
  • Proficiency with PIEE (Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment).
  • Expert-level mastery of Microsoft Excel is mandatory.
  • Strong organizational, administrative, and record-keeping skills.
  • Ability to track, reconcile, and maintain accurate property records.
