If you've spent years working in a dealership, you know the challenges that come with it. Warranty labor times, manufacturer requirements, increasing complexity, and sometimes the feeling that you're spending more time dealing with the process than actually fixing cars.
Your experience and training are valuable, and there's a career outside the dealership where you can put them to good use.
Yeomans Service Center is looking for experienced A and B level automotive technicians to join our team in Fort Wayne and New Haven.
We're not hiring simply to fill an empty position or get another set of hands in the shop. We're looking for the right people to build our team around.
We're an established independent repair business with plans to expand to four locations in the Fort Wayne area. As we grow, we want technicians who see an opportunity to be part of something long term, contribute their experience, and help establish the standards that will carry our company forward.
We believe a strong shop starts with good people. The right equipment, processes, and management matter, but the technicians on the floor ultimately determine the quality of the work and the reputation of the business.
We're looking for people who take that responsibility seriously, and we intend to invest in the people who do.

We're interested in technicians who can work independently, diagnose problems accurately, and complete repairs efficiently without compromising quality.
You don't need to know everything about every manufacturer. If you've developed strong fundamentals working for Ford, GM, Chrysler, Toyota, Honda, Volkswagen, BMW, or another manufacturer, those skills translate well into the independent repair industry.
We're especially interested in technicians who want to contribute beyond their individual work. People who communicate well, help their coworkers when needed, take ownership of their work, and recognize that a successful shop benefits everyone involved.
Ideal candidates will have:
ASE certifications and manufacturer training are preferred but not required.
We're not going to tell you that every day is perfect or that independent repair doesn't have its own challenges. Automotive repair is demanding work regardless of where you do it.
What we're building is a company where productive, capable technicians can make a good living, have the equipment and support they need, and take pride in the shop they represent.
We're interested in building a team that stays together, gets better together, and helps shape the future of this business.
As Yeomans grows, we want the people who helped build that success to have opportunities to grow with it.
If you're currently working at a dealership or independent shop and have wondered what else is out there, we'd be happy to talk.
You don't need to be actively looking for a job to have a conversation. All inquiries will be handled confidentially.
