Job Overview:  

Outside Services is responsible for providing exceptional member services. Essential Duties: The job duties listed are typical examples of the work performed by positions in this job classification. Not all duties assigned to every position are included, nor is it expected that all positions will be assigned every duty. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Bring carts from cart facility to cart stage area.
  • Ensure that carts are clean, operating properly and are properly equipped with pencils, score cards, tees, sand mix bottles, and coolers.
  • Report any repair problems to the supervisor
  • Perform customer service duties in the bag drop area including greeting and interacting with guests, removing golf bags from cars, and providing information, directions and assistance to the golf shop.
  • Transport golf bags from the bag drop area and load onto assigned golf carts.
  • Greet golfers returning from the course, clean golf clubs, unload golf clubs from carts and assist with transporting and loading into vehicles or returning bags to the storage area as appropriate.
  • Return golf carts to the cart storage area. Remove towels, pencils, score cards, tees, trash, etc. from carts and save reusable items. Wash cart with cleaner, park cart and connect charger cable.
  • Perform practice facility duties including transporting range balls to each end of the range and filling appropriate containers, cleaning and maintaining the tee area, repositioning bag stands or barriers, removing trash from receptacles, operating the ball picker on the practice facility, washing range balls, etc.
  • Clean all areas associated with the working area including, but not limited to bag drop, parking lot, practice facility and cart facility.
  • Perform other duties as appropriate or assigned. 

Additional Duties:  

  • Practice and adhere to FirstService Residential Global Service Standards.
  • Conduct business at all times with the highest standards of personal, professional and ethical conduct.
  • Perform or assist with any operations as required to maintain workflow and to meet schedules. Notify supervision of unusual equipment or operating problems and the need for additional material and supplies.
  •  May participate in any variety of meetings and work groups to integrate activities, communicate issues, obtain approvals, res olve problems and maintain specified level of knowledge pertaining to new developments, requirements, policies, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Ensure all safety precautions are followed while performing the work.
  • Follow all policies and Standard Operating Procedures as instructed by Management. • Perform any range of special projects, tasks and other related duties as assigned 

Education & Experience:  

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience on golf course preferred, but not required.
  • Valid Florida driver’s license. 

Knowledge & Skills: 

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.

  • Ability to drive a golf cart
  • Ability to use golf ball collection net and golf ball washer
  • Ability to handle a fast-paced environment  

Physical Requirements: 

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Hours over and above normal office hours will occur, including evenings, holidays, and some weekends. Schedule is subject to change based on business needs.

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions for extended periods of time.
  • Work in an upright standing position for long periods of time
  • Repeat various motions with wrists, hands and fingers.

Compensation: $15.00 per hour; paid bi-weekly

Schedule: Varies based on the needs of the community.
