    Maintains golf course grounds to existing high standards.

    Duties

    • Operation of light and heavy motorized golf course equipment.
    • Greens Mowers.
    • Triplex tee and approach mowers.
    • Edges cart paths and bunkers.
    • Mows fairways, green, tees and approaches
    • Operates weed eater.
    • Trims trees and bunkers.
    • Changes cups.
    • Bunker grooming machines.
    • String trimmers, blowers and miscellaneous hand tools.
    • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee is occasionally required to sit. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

    Qualifications

    • Requires knowledge of the safe operation of trucks, tractors and other motorized equipment.
    • Knowledge of maintenance tools and ability to follow oral and written directions.
    • Adheres to standard safety practices' including but not limited to wearing gloves, boots, etc.
    • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination and experience.
    • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
