Jacobs Entertainment is currently in search of an "Assistant Food & Beverage Manager" for Gold Dust West Carson City. This property features 148 modern hotel rooms and suites, a 32-lane Bowling Center with full Snack Bar, an RV Park, full-service Sports Book the ever-popular Grille Restaurant.

Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties:
- Ensure that Supervisors are maintaining their periodic inspections of all areas
- Administer safety policies and procedures and assures adherence to these policies
- Prepare and coordinate performance reviews of assigned personnel
- Make recommendations on hiring, promotions, and release of personnel
- Establish and maintain effective channels of communication with staff and management
- Regular interactions with property Food and Beverage Manager to ensure product satisfaction and guest's needs are being met
- Oversee accountability of all FOH F&B personnel through effective and consistent communication and delegation
- Coordinate procurement with purchasing and receiving departments to ensure timely and quality purchases
- Oversee department compliance regarding all sanitation rules and requirements
- Maintain current and accurate Safety Data Sheets (SDS)
- Oversee and ensure the culinary operations are in satisfactory conditions to meet local health requirements as well as all other applicable regulatory requirements
Skills, Education and Other Requirements:
- High School Diploma and Equivalent Work Experience
- 3-5 years related experience and/or training
- Nevada Alcohol Awareness Identification
- Must have Hi-volume experience
- Identification that establishes identity
- Identification that establishes the right to work in the United States
