Pay Range: $40 - $45/Hour on W2/C2C (All inclusive)

Introduction

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Golang Backend Developer with expertise in Mainframe Integration. This role requires a strong background in software development, integration, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated history of working in application development across various platforms and architectures.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proficiency in Golang and Python
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift
• Familiarity with Apache Kafka, Oracle/Postgres, and Splunk
• Experience with Unix and Jenkins
• Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry
• Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with COBOL, JCL, DB2, and IMS
• Knowledge of tools such as ISPW, File-AID, CAFM, DFSORT, and Control-M
• Basic knowledge of Mainframe Automation and Excel-based VBA Macro Automation

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Conduct requirements analysis, development, and testing
• Perform post-installation validation support
• Drive and manage daily meetings and calls with counterparts
• Prepare defect logs and track defects to closure
• Develop query scripts for data extraction and ensure successful processing of records
• Prepare reports for platform stability and visibility of issues
• Provide audit and operational risk event support
