Key Responsibilities

• Test, analyze, and report accurate and timely results in the Gluten Lab.
• Organize workload and prioritize samples to maximize output and meet deadlines.
• Execute laboratory methods, deliver results by due date, and perform data interpretation.
• Comply with Medallion and ISO 17025 quality requirements and address quality control issues.
• Perform routine instrument maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Support cross-functional teams and assist in projects as needed.
• Develop and maintain lab procedures and participate in audits.
• Implement training of lab personnel through effective cross-training plans.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in microbiology, food science, biology, chemistry, or related field.
• 1-3 years' experience in food testing.
• Proficient in basic laboratory skills and operation of lab equipment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Experience working in an ISO 17025 accredited lab.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferences

• Experience working with LabWare LIMS.
