Role: Senior Counsel - Global Trade (Export Controls & Sanctions)
Location: Mostly Remote from Greater Seattle, Washington area (PST)
Start Date: July 27, 2026
Duration: 3-month engagement with potential for extension
Hours: Approximately 30 hours per week
Schedule: Availability during Pacific Time business hours

We are seeking an experienced attorney with deep expertise in U.S. sanctions laws and a strong background in international trade compliance. The successful candidate will provide strategic and practical legal guidance on sanctions risks, due diligence, regulatory developments, compliance initiatives, and complex commercial matters. Candidates should be comfortable working independently while collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders across legal, compliance, business, and engineering teams. Experience advising on EU and UK sanctions regimes, U.S. export controls, and trade compliance issues within a multinational or technology-focused organization is highly preferred.
