Introduction
The softgoods materials global supply management team is responsible for the sourcing, manufacturing development execution, and production of the company's differentiated and unique materials including textiles, adhesives, and polyurethane. Part of the company's core business is the creation and development of world-class industrial designs, requiring equally unique, innovative, and specialized supply chain management.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5 years in NPI operations readiness, supply chain, or similar industry.
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or similar discipline.
- Experience in supply chain management, including identification, development, and management of softgoods materials suppliers.
- Proficiency in risk mitigation through data-based analysis and developing risk mitigation alternatives.
- Prior work experience at the company or in the company's industry.
Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Textile or softgoods materials experience.
- Strong project management skills, including developing plans & schedules, driving meetings & coordination.
- Experience in material or product qualification, including phased approach, milestones, critical-to-quality specifications, and product validation & reliability.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Manage supply chain activities to ensure on-time delivery, including schedule, capacity, and supply planning.
- Support cross-functional collaboration across materials, product development, and operations teams.
- Evaluate and develop new technologies using new materials, finishes, and processes.
- On-site management of materials and final assembly partners to manage development builds, risk mitigation, and ramp.
- Travel up to 25%.
