The Global Supply Chain Production Planner serves as the lead planning subject matter expert responsible for developing and maintaining integrated demand, supply, inventory, and production plans that support Telix's global commercial product portfolio. This role provides planning leadership across the end-to-end supply chain, balancing commercial demand, manufacturing capacity, inventory strategy, and regulatory requirements to ensure continuity of supply.
Working independently and in partnership with Commercial, Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory, Finance, and external manufacturing partners, the role drives supply planning decisions, identifies and mitigates supply risks, and leads continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen supply reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency across the global network.
Key Accountabilities:
Supply Planning Leadership
- Serve as the lead planner for assigned commercial products, owning end-to-end supply planning activities from demand review through product distribution.
- Develop and maintain integrated global supply and production plans that balance demand forecasts, manufacturing capacity, inventory strategies, product lifecycle changes, and regulatory requirements
- Translate commercial demand forecasts into actionable manufacturing and inventory plans, providing recommendations that support business objectives while minimizing supply risk.
- Lead supply planning and inventory optimization activities for commercial products, establishing planning assumptions and recommending inventory strategies that improve service levels and operational efficiency.
Risk Management & Decision Support
- Proactively identify, assess, and manage supply risks, capacity constraints, and potential disruptions across the global supply network.
- Lead cross-functional risk assessment and scenario planning activities and provide recommendations to support continuity of supply and achievement of commercial objectives.
- Serve as a primary escalation point for planning-related issues impacting inventory, production schedules, product availability, and customer commitments.
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Lead planning alignment discussions with Commercial, Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Finance, Logistics, and external manufacturing partners to ensure integrated and executable supply plans.
- Influence planning decisions across stakeholder groups by providing data-driven insights and recommendations regarding inventory positions, production strategies, and supply priorities.
- Support and facilitate S&OP and Integrated Business Planning processes, ensuring alignment between demand forecasts, production plans, inventory targets, and financial objectives.
Continuous Improvement & SME Responsibilities
- Act as a subject matter expert for supply planning processes, tools, planning methodologies, and best practices across the commercial supply chain organization.
- Lead initiatives to improve forecasting accuracy, production scheduling effectiveness, inventory management, and overall planning performance.
- Develop planning metrics, dashboards, and analytical tools that support decision-making and supply chain performance improvement.
- Identify opportunities for process standardization and operational excellence and champion implementation of planning improvements across the organization.
- Stay current on industry best practices and emerging supply chain planning methodologies and incorporate relevant advancements into planning processes and business operations.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Life Sciences, or a related field required.
- 5+ years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in the pharmaceutical or clinical trial industry required.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to global supply chain.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
