The Global Sourcing Manager is responsible for developing and executing end-to-end global sourcing strategies for steel, fabricated components, cladding materials, indirect spend categories, and critical commodities that support our design, fabrication, and project delivery operations. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

This role owns assigned global categories and supplier portfolios, drives measurable cost, quality, lead-time, and risk outcomes, and serves as a strategic partner to Engineering, Operations, Project Management, Quality, Finance, and senior leadership. The position requires a high degree of commercial judgment, market insight, cross-functional influence, and the ability to build and manage a resilient international supply base aligned with our project pipeline and manufacturing footprint.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span>

Requirements<\/h3>Qualifications:<\/span><\/span><\/b> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/p> Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and progressive work experience. <\/span><\/span>
<\/li>Master's degree or MBA preferred. <\/span><\/span>
<\/li>8 -12+ years of progressive strategic sourcing, category management, or procurement experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 5 years focused on global sourcing. <\/span><\/span>
<\/li>Demonstrated experience sourcing steel products, fabricated structural components, or related metal building/construction materials. <\/span><\/span>
<\/li>Proven track record managing global supplier bases across multiple regions (North America, Europe, Asia, Latin America, or similar). <\/span><\/span>
<\/li>Strong commercial negotiation skills and experience developing and administering complex supply agreements. <\/span><\/span>
<\/li>Solid understanding of steel markets, fabrication processes, manufacturing supply chains, and total cost of ownership principles. <\/span><\/span>
<\/li>Experience partnering with engineering and operations on technical and project-driven requirements. <\/span><\/span>
<\/li>Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite) and advanced Excel/data analytics tools; experience with e-sourcing platforms preferred. <\/span><\/span>
<\/li>Professional certifications such as CPSM, CSCP, CIPS, or equivalent strongly preferred. <\/span><\/span>

<\/p>Strategic thinker with the ability to translate market and business insights into executable sourcing plans. <\/span><\/span>

<\/li>Strong analytical and financial acumen (cost modeling, spend analysis, risk assessment). <\/span><\/span>
<\/li>Results-oriented, with a bias for action and continuous improvement. <\/span><\/span>
<\/li>Clear, professional communication skills (written and verbal) suitable for internal leadership and external supplier interactions. <\/span><\/span>
<\/li>Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver under project-driven timelines. <\/span><\/span>
<\/li>Cultural agility and comfort working across international teams and time zones. <\/span><\/span>
