Overview
The Global Partner Development Manager for Pax8 is a strategic business leader responsible for accelerating Microsofts growth through one of its global cloud distribution partners. The role sits at the intersection of partner strategy, sales execution, marketplace innovation, and Microsofts cloud and AI priorities, translating global opportunities into scalable business models and measurable outcomes across markets.
As the Global PDM, you will own the global partner strategy and Partner Business Plan, identify new sources of growth, build joint business strategies, and orchestrate Microsoft and Pax8 stakeholders across geographies and solution areas. You will help shape how Pax8 enables its partner ecosystem to build capabilities, take differentiated Microsoft solutions to market, and create sustainable customer value through cloud, AI, Security, Modern Work, and Business Applications.
This role offers the opportunity to influence the evolution of digital-first distribution and how Microsoft reaches and serves customers through the global MSP ecosystem. You will work with leaders across Microsoft and Pax8, solve complex cross-organizational challenges, and turn joint strategy into repeatable growth motions that can scale globally.
The role is a critical force multiplier for Microsoft, creating alignment across organizations and helping translate Microsofts strategic priorities into partner capability, marketplace execution, customer impact, and measurable growth.

Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications:

Additional or Preferred Qualifications :
Masters Degree in Business Administration, Business Science, or an advanced degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) or a related field AND 10+ years experience in partner management, sales, business development, or partner channel development in the technology industry or related experience
OR equivalent experience.
Demonstrated experience developing and executing complex joint business strategies with large partners or customers.
Experience driving measurable sales growth, pipeline development, customer acquisition, consumption, or other commercial outcomes.
Solid understanding of cloud channels and partner ecosystems, including MSPs, resellers, cloud solution providers, or other indirect sales models.
Demonstrated ability to develop trusted relationships and influence executive stakeholders.
Experience orchestrating complex cross-functional and geographically distributed organizations through influence rather than direct authority.
Solid business and financial acumen with the ability to translate data and market insights into actionable growth strategies.
Executive-level communication skills with the ability to simplify complex business challenges and drive alignment and action.
Experience working with cloud distributors, digital marketplaces, MSP ecosystems, or other high-scale indirect business models.
Understanding of cloud marketplaces, CSP, recurring-revenue models, professional or managed services, and partner economics.
Experience developing or scaling partner go-to-market motions across multiple regions.
Knowledge of Microsoft Cloud and AI solutions or comparable enterprise technology platforms.
Experience influencing partner transformation across sales, technical, services, marketing, and marketplace capabilities.
Partner Development Management IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $133,000 - $222,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $170,300 - $239,800 per year.
