    We are seeking a Global Nutrition Technical Advisor to join our team Internationally or from our North Wilkesboro office. Through humanitarian work, the goal and purpose of Samaritan''s Purse are to help people in Jesus'' name and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

    In the role of Global Nutrition Technical Advisor, you will have the opportunity to:

    • Maintain a personal, active relationship with Jesus Christ and is a consistent witness for Jesus Christ.

    • Support Disaster Assistance Response Team (DART) deployments, International Projects Department, and Field Offices to assess, design, implement, monitor, and evaluate nutrition programs.

    • Provide leadership to nutrition team as they implement projects through the project management cycle.

    • Regularly conduct monitoring visits and on-site trainings according to field needs.

    • Support the development of program proposals, concepts notes, assessments and reports related to nutrition programs and provide feedback and support as necessary.

    • Develop necessary tools and materials to support the implementation of nutrition activities.

    • Keep current on latest developments in nutrition programming by reviewing relevant list serves, reading reports, and attending trainings/workshops.

    • Attend Nutrition cluster and/or coordination meetings and represent Samaritan''s Purse in technical working groups.

    • Actively engage with donors, work with government partners, and increase the footprint of Samaritan''s Purse nutrition work.

    • Other duties as assigned.

    As a qualified candidate, you will have the following skills and experience:

    • Master''s Degree (M.A.) or equivalent in public health, nutrition, or related field; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    • Ability to develop, analyze, and implement proposals, reports, logframes, Gantt charts, monitoring workbooks, and budget documents.

    • Ability to effectively lead teams, train staff in technical nutrition and program management concepts, and present information to top management, or public groups.
