Snap Inc is a technology company. We believe the camera presents the greatest opportunity to improve the way people live and communicate. Snap contributes to human progress by empowering people to express themselves, live in the moment, learn about the world, and have fun together.

The Company operates Snapchat, a visual messaging app that enhances your relationships with friends, family, and the world, and Specs Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary dedicated to making computing more human, in addition to Bitmoji, Saturn, and other digital services.

SPECS is creating the future of augmented reality, and we believe wearable computing will transform how people work. We are looking for a Global Industry Lead, Healthcare to help define and scale our healthcare strategy for augmented reality glasses.

This is a high-impact individual contributor role for a commercially minded industry leader who can bring together strategy, partnerships, go-to-market execution, and direct sales engagement. You will take explicit ownership of healthcare as a priority vertical, shaping how we position, sell, and scale augmented reality glasses with healthcare customers around the world.

You will work cross-functionally to define the most compelling healthcare use cases, build the right ecosystem of partners, create repeatable offerings, and drive customer adoption from early opportunity through scaled deployment. You will also represent SPECS externally at key healthcare industry events and help develop the thought leadership, customer content, and demand generation programs that establish our credibility in the market.

What You'll Do

  • Own the global industry strategy for healthcare, including market priorities, target customer segments, partner motions, and go-to-market plans for SPECS.

  • Lead all healthcare-related customer and industry engagements tied to the positioning and sale of our AR glasses solutions.

  • Identify, prioritize, and refine the highest-value healthcare use cases that can drive repeatable customer outcomes and scalable commercial opportunities.

  • Work cross-functionally with Partner Development Managers, Technical Partner Managers, product, engineering, marketing, and sales stakeholders to bring healthcare solutions to market

  • Build and grow a strong partner ecosystem across healthcare-focused consultants, systems integrators, developers, software providers, and strategic solution partners

  • Define the offerings we take to market for healthcare, including partner-enabled solutions, pilot frameworks, customer programs, and industry-specific narratives

  • Drive partner and customer enablement to accelerate adoption, improve solution repeatability, and strengthen execution quality in the field

  • Own healthcare pipeline development, customer qualification, and end-to-end sales cycles from initial engagement through expansion

  • Establish trusted relationships with senior customer stakeholders across innovation, operations, clinical, digital, and IT functions

  • Represent SPECS at major healthcare and digital health events, including conferences, executive briefings, customer summits, and partner-led engagements

  • Curate healthcare-focused white papers, knowledge base articles, customer-facing materials, and onsite demand generation experiences hosted at SPECS campuses

  • Gather market feedback and translate it into actionable recommendations for product direction, partner priorities, and commercial readiness

Minimum Qualifications

  • 10+ years leading strategy, business development, sales, partnerships or GTM across customers in the healthcare industry

  • Experience applying industrial technology, enterprise software, spatial computing, XR, AR, or an adjacent field tech in healthcare

  • Significant experience in business development, sales, partnerships, consulting, or industry leadership within healthcare technology, digital health, medical devices, enterprise software, or adjacent sectors

  • Proven track record of owning complex customer engagements and leading enterprise sales cycles with large healthcare organizations

  • Deep understanding of the healthcare landscape, including provider systems, clinical environments, operational workflows, and the dynamics shaping technology adoption

  • Experience building industry strategies that connect customer pain points, ecosystem partners, and scalable go-to-market motions

  • Ability to identify and develop repeatable use cases and offerings that can move from early pilots to broader deployment

  • Strong cross-functional leadership skills with the ability to influence across technical, commercial, and executive stakeholders

  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with experience developing customer-facing content, thought leadership, and executive-level presentations

  • Comfort operating in an ambiguous, fast-moving environment where you are expected to build new market motions from the ground up

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in augmented reality, mixed reality, spatial computing, smart glasses, or other emerging wearable technologies

  • Experience working with or selling into clinical, hospital, health system, telehealth, medtech, or digital health environments

  • Background at a company such as Microsoft HoloLens, Magic Leap, or a comparable AR/XR platform company

  • Experience working with partner ecosystems including systems integrators, solution providers, software vendors, and technical delivery partners

  • Familiarity with healthcare-specific transformation areas such as clinician workflow efficiency, remote expertise, training and simulation, patient engagement, or digital care delivery

Our Story

The name may have changed over the years, but the commitment made when the forerunner of SNAP (Spokane Neighborhood Action Partners) formed in 1966 remains its guiding purpose today. SNAP’s mission was, and is, to provide people of low income with access to needed resources, and to help them make the kinds of connections that create opportunity. Our goal always has been to help build a vibrant community that treats everyone with dignity and respect by advocating for that which is fair, honorable and equitable.

The foundation for what is now SNAP got its start in the summer of 1966, when Father Frank Bach, then the director of Catholic Charities in Spokane, enlisted the assistance of the St. Vincent DePaul Society to establish three community centers, in Hillyard, East Central and West Central Spokane, each with a goal of helping low-income people meet their emergency needs as well as to provide a multitude of services within those communities.

These centers and the community-based programs they initiated were so successful that the Spokane Community Action Agency took over the administration of the neighborhood centers. Unfortunately, that agency lost its funding in the summer of 1973. The programs would have been lost were it not for the intervention of a number of community leaders. New funding was secured and Catholic Charities again administered the program.

Striving to fill growing needs, the Neighborhood Centers had developed an annual budget in excess of $4 million by 1985 and were growing beyond the scope of Catholic Charities. On September 12, 1985, with Tom Pleas as Director, the centers became Spokane Neighborhood Centers, Inc. The incorporators were: P.J. Grabicki, Thelma Pugh, Robert Huckabay, Sheri Barnard, Clarence (Bud) Barnes, Nora Beggs, Ed Stevens and Bill Fearn. The corporation adopted bylaws on December 10, 1985.

Five years after incorporation, leadership shifted with the announced retirement of Director Pleas. The agency’s associate director, Larry Stuckart, was formally named executive director in July 1992. Julie Honekamp assumed the role of SNAP and SNAP Financial Access CEO in June of 2011.

From 1985 through the present, the agency has expanded services to meet the needs of a growing population, proving itself to be more than just “neighborhood centers.” Through continuing expansion and a variety of programs, the agency strives to facilitate long-term solutions for the people it serves.

The agency officially became Spokane Neighborhood Action Programs in December 1991, a name chosen to reflect the breadth of the agency’s operations. In Sheri S. Barnard’s Mayoral Proclamation, the agency pledged to continue providing quality services and to ensure that Spokane remains a place that cares about its citizens. In 2008, the name was officially shortened to “SNAP” and legally changed to Spokane Neighborhood Action Partners.

With a re-energized mission, vision and values statement, as well as a new visual identity, SNAP continues to respond to individual and community needs by providing a range of opportunities that offer stability to our vulnerable neighbors and encourage economic self-sufficiency for those who are able.
