    • Regional Strategy & Global Alignment: Oversee regional policy needs, thoughtfully balancing global safety standards with regulatory, cultural, and geopolitical considerations.
    • Cross-Functional System Optimization: Partner closely with cross-functional teams to develop and improve moderation in response to emerging risks, including developing policy guidance and running evaluation of enforcement outcomes.
    • Strategic Vision & Execution: Set the multi-year directional strategy for the regional policy function while remaining deeply involved in the operational details to ensure policy intent translates into effective enforcement. Minimum Qualification(s):

    • 5+ years of people management experience, with a proven track record of leading large, culturally diverse, globally distributed teams.
    • Deep understanding of content policy, online safety, integrity, and authenticity challenges, as well as the unique dynamics of social media platforms.
    • Exceptional ability to synthesize highly complex topics into clear, strategic narratives for executives, external stakeholders, and broad audiences.
    • Strong collaborative skills with proven experience navigating competing priorities alongside product, technical, legal, and operational teams.
    • High technical fluency with the ability to navigate complex tools, systems, and emerging technologies, paired with a strong understanding of how data science informs policy development and enforcement.

    Preferred Qualification(s):

    • Experience directly engaging with key external stakeholders, including policymakers, regulators, academics, or civil society organizations.
    • Advanced degree (JD, MPP, MBA, or equivalent) in public policy, law, data science, or a related field.
