One of our clients is a Louisville-based engineered solutions provider. Due to growth and expansion, they are looking to hire a technology & solutions type who can come on board, learn / soak up / absorb the company’s technologies to eventually become their subject matter expert. Our client is looking for an Engineer (preferably chemical) that has a background in industrial or chemical filtration, distillation, centrifugation, separation, metal working fluids, evaporation, wastewater systems, fluid transfer units, lubrication systems, air filtration systems, or cross flow membrane technology / technologies with a proven performance of creating engineered solutions for process related problems. The right candidate will bring with them a track record of thinking outside of the box, managing projects, working directly with customers, sales teams, defining winning value propositions and solving complex customer-related issues, past involvement in testing and DOE’s and can bring creditability in front of current and prospective customers.
Job would entail directly managing an engineering staff of 6 and an Operations team of 22.
Position will report to the COO and work directly with the VP of Sales and Marketing. Travel is expected to be 20-30% of the time nationally (Two to three nights, every two to three weeks).
