Position Description:
The manager will be primarily responsible for performing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing together with SPE's Global Consolidation Reporting team and may provide project support for new IFRS related initiative. This role will work with senior members in the team to prepare SPE's consolidation financial information, ensuring the records are maintained in compliance with SOX and appropriate internal controls.
Responsibilities to include, but not limited to:

Work with members to perform closing, including assisting with various consolidated financial reporting requests. Example activities include:
o
Coordinate/communicate with the divisional GFO reporting group to ensure timely, accurate and complete reporting of financial information.
o
Prepare SPE's consolidation financial and supplemental schedules as well as financial disclosure schedules within tight schedules.
o
Prepare the final submission reporting files of SPE's financial information submitted to Sony Tokyo in Tango
o
Prepare SPE's consolidation management reporting package.
o
Coordinate/communicate with Sony Group Tokyo to submit the required financial information and respond to inquiries regarding SPE's financial results.
o
Coordinate documentation requests with internal and external audit/compliance teams.
o
Assist with the maintenance of SPE's chart of accounts and profit center/segment reporting hierarchies.

Assist with financial reporting projects. Example activities include:
o
Support IFRS18 implementation activities, in coordination with SPE personnel. Including; maintain and reconcile reports with the updated SPE's chart of accounts and hierarchies.
o
S/4 HANA data analysis and reconciliation to support reporting, in coordination with SPE IT and GFO financial reporting teams.

Support various ad-hoc special financial reporting projects, as needed.

Perform maintenance of SAP/BW/Tango System. Example activities include:
o
Coordinate/communicate with system administration, including evaluating changes to SAP, BW and Tango consolidation system accounts and profit center hierarchy.
o
Update and maintain Tango application for SPE's monthly financial submission to Sony Group.
