Job Summary (Glendale, AZ Light Industrial MCCCD Glendale Community College Custodian ):
- Perform general custodial duties to maintain cleanliness and hygiene of campus facilities.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, classrooms, offices, hallways, and common areas.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and wax floors as needed.
- Empty trash receptacles and properly dispose of waste.
- Replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.
- Assist with setup and breakdown of furniture and equipment for events or meetings.
- Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to appropriate personnel.
- Follow established safety procedures and use cleaning chemicals responsibly.
- May perform minor maintenance tasks as assigned.
- Work collaboratively with other custodial and facilities staff.
- Ensure compliance with campus policies and standards for cleanliness.
- Other related duties as assigned by supervisor.
