    GIT Infrastructure - Manager Data Center

    PURPOSEThe SMC IT Infrastructure Manager will partner with the IT Leadership team to ensure the IT infrastructure's availability, performance, and stability support SMC's strategic goals. This role will oversee and direct infrastructure services such as data center network, compute, storage, server and virtualization, WAN/MAN, campus networking, and operational security. The IT Infrastructure Manager will lead an advanced team of system administrators and engineers to provide outstanding support to other IT teams and the business. This position is an essential leader on a team that encourages an adaptable culture, transformative thinking, and continuous learning.ESSENTIAL DUTIES

    Provide awesome support for current and future enterprises systemsCollaborate with partners on value driven solutions, shared learning opportunities, driving new technology, innovation, and adoptionOversee IT Infrastructure implementations, forecasting, and maintenance concentrating on technical and financial impactsLead a team of System Administrators and Engineers in charge of various hardware and software platforms for the departmentProactively look for ways to improve administration, monitoring, reporting, and standard operating proceduresManage vendor, partner, and manufacturer relationshipsCreate and monitor metrics to continuously improve IT Infrastructure servicesPerform annual salary and performance reviewsOther duties as assigned

    Demonstrated experience managing a team of Networks, System, and/or Data Center EngineersInvolvement in successful large hardware/software implementationsVendor and contract management

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

    Bachelor's degree in relevant field of study, or equivalent verifiable education/work experience5+ years of verifiable experience in designing, building, and managing large Enterprise IT networks7+ years of management and/or supervisory experienceValid passportAbility to travel abroad
