GIS Technician

Job Responsibilities:

• Edit GIS data using ArcMap and/or ArcGIS Pro
• Perform spatial adjustments to existing GIS data
• Create and maintain printed and online maps
• Effectively communicate with management and peers
• Collaborate with the team to troubleshoot and solve issues

Required Skills & Experience:

• Experience with ArcMap and/or ArcGIS Pro
• Strong understanding of cartographic principles and design
• Detail oriented
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Familiarity with natural gas, water, wastewater, or electric utility datasets
• Ability to read and understand As-Built drawings
• Experience editing in a versioned environment
• Understanding of the utility network data model
• Experience with Esri geoprocessing tools
