Overview of GIS Specialist II role:
- Maintain databases filled with new and historical data including crop usage, acreage, varieties, yields, plantings, etc.
- Manage web maps, field trial maps, project maps, and annual reporting
- Perform spatial analysis with a variety of data sources related to farming operations, crop production, water use, and land use
- Ensure data integrity throughout all GIS resources including data collection, data storage and data usage
- Coordinate with farming divisions and other departments to determine user needs
- Integrate data and ensure integrity of all related data
- Perform and manage field data information gathering and audits
Experience Preferred for the GIS Specialist II role:
- Bachelors in related subject or certification preferred
- Any of the following: ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Pro, Arcgis.com
- ESRI mobile applications
