GIS Specialist

The GIS Specialist is an integral part of the GIS-DT department and in collaboration with Project Managers is responsible for production of GIS and Digital Twin deliverables, external model coordination, data integration, scripting, drafting, and modeling. Utilizing exceptional team collaboration, attention to detail, and accountability to make a positive impact on results.

• Participate in internal team meetings to review the scope of GIS and Digital Twin related

project development and delivery.

• Perform drafting/modeling, data conversion, and integration of external and internal data

sources in the development of GIS and Digital Twin project delivery.

• Perform scripting in relation to process and workflow automation.

• Provide updates to GIS Project Managers on status of projects and deliveries.

• Review PDF, CAD, and associated documents for model or plan set development.

• Develop dashboards, web-maps, and ArcGIS Experience builder apps.

• Develop ESRI Utility networks in collaboration with SUE and GIS teams

• Coordinate with BIM-EX and VDC teams on Revit model integration and

suitability/upscaling.

• Coordinate with SUE and Geoscience teams on subsurface and utility data integration.

• Perform field data collection and verification dependent on project needs.
