Girls Basketball, Middle School Assistant Coach

The State College Area School District anticipates filling a Middle School Girls Basketball Assistant Coach position.

The Coach is responsible for providing leadership and guidance to student-athletes as well as supporting an overall vision for the Junior High Program. The Assistant Coaches report to the High School and Junior High Head Coaches in support of program goals and initiatives. We are seeking positive, passionate, enthusiastic individuals who will not only instruct student-athletes in fundamental skills, strategy and physical training, but also guide and mentor them to be driven and responsible student-athletes and citizens.

Both the PA Dept. of Education and the PIAA require specific safety and coaching training to include CPR and First Aid. See the Athletics website for details.
