Requirements of Distribution Associate
- Ability to lift 50 lbs repetitively
- 6 months warehouse experience preferred
- Must be able to stand, bend, squat for long hours
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English language effectively
- Basic Warehouse Management System experience is preferred
- Must be able to work in a team-based warehouse environment
- Must be able to understand and respond to various notifications, both visual and audible, unless otherwise stated by the client
- High School Diploma/GED
Responsibilities of a Distribution Associate- Identifies and transports requested materials to and from various locations including machines, loading docks, trucks, and storage areas
- Manual movement of case, boxes, cartons from point a to point b
- May assemble and tape boxes, label cartons, build pallets and handle recyclable materials
- Folds, tags, attached size straps, bags, and applies hangers to apparel
- Repackages to meet customer demands and scans department inventory in/out
- Applies understanding of machine loading capacity and loading schedule, ensuring prompt delivery of required items.
- All other duties as assigned
