Organization Information The Ludlow Independent School District is a suburban/urban district serving students in preschool through 12th grade in the city of Ludlow. The city of Ludlow has approximately 4,400 residents and is nestled along the Ohio River three miles from Cincinnati. The district is comprised of two schools, Mary A. Goetz Elementary and Ludlow High School, with an enrollment of approximately 850 students. Each student in the district is provided their own technology device for their instruction and utilization of instructional programming. Along with our rich tradition of academic excellence, students are offered many opportunities for college and career pathways, including AP courses and the Gateway Early College Program. Vacancy ID 20262027 - 00459 Position Category Gifted and Talented Instructor Title Gifted and Talented Instructor Description Meet and instruct assigned classes in the location at the times designated using the curriculum guides developed by the faculty and approved by the Board. Maintain a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of the students. Develop lesson plans and instructional materials and provide individualized and small group instruction in order to adapt the curriculum to the needs of each pupil. Translate lesson plans into learning experiences to best utilize the available time for instruction. Complete screening of all students for potential giftedness, formal evaluation of students in individual areas, complete referrals, complete identification paperwork. Complete Gifted Service Plan for qualified students. Communicate with parents through report cards, notes, in-person conferences, and gifted progress reports (2x a year), and other means to discuss pupil''s progress and interpret the school program.
