    Job Summary:

    This position is a Gifted and Talented Coordinator 2026/2027 SY

    Qualifications:

    • Valid teaching or administror certification.
    • Experience administering and interpreting CogAT Screener.
    • Experience differentiating instruction for diverse learners.
    • Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills.
    • Knowledge of gifted education theory, instructional strategies, and assessment practices

    Responsibilities

    • Program Management & Strategy: Lead the development, execution, and continuous evaluation of comprehensive district-wide G&T services and specialized academic pathways
    • Student Identification: Establish fair, comprehensive assessment processes and evaluation protocols to identify gifted learners, and communicate these results to teachers and parents.
    • Instruction & Curriculum: Collaborate with content departments to design individualized learning plans (ILPs), acceleration models, and enriching interdisciplinary units of study.
    • Professional Development: Design and deliver research-based training to help classroom teachers differentiate instruction and support the specific social and emotional needs of gifted learners.
    • Compliance & Advocacy: Monitor programs for compliance with state laws and district policies, oversee budgets, and secure funding or grant opportunities.
