All aboard for a great opportunity at the 1880 Train! We're looking for friendly, outgoing, and energetic individuals to join our team as Gift Shop Attendants and help create a memorable experience for our guests. This postion is considered Seasonal with part and full time hours available.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Greet guests as they enter the gift shop and provide information about merchandise and train-related souvenirs.Operate a POS system to complete accurate transactions, including handling cash and card payments.Tag, stock, and organize merchandise to maintain an attractive and well-stocked retail space.Answer guest questions about train schedules, excursions, and the history of the 1880 Train.Assist with general cleaning and upkeep of the gift shop and surrounding guest areas.Support other guest service roles as needed, which may include assisting with boarding areas or special events.Qualification Requirements:Must be at least 16 years of age.Friendly, customer-focused attitude with strong communication skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.Physical Demands:Continuous standing and walking on level ground, as well as occasional stairs.Continuous hearing at conversational levels and in a busy guest environment.Occasional exposure to outdoor conditions, including changes in temperature and weather.
