    Job Summary

    Schedule: Per Diem, pick up shifts as needed; Day Shift, Monday-Friday; 8 and 10 hour days with variable start times starting at 6:30am-9am

    The GI Certified Surgical Technologist plays a vital role in supporting patients before, during, and after endoscopic procedures. This position requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of sterile technique and patient safety.

    Key Responsibilities
    Prepare procedure rooms, instruments, and equipment for endoscopic procedures
    Maintain sterile technique and infection prevention standards
    Assist physicians and clinical staff during GI procedures
    Handle, clean, and process endoscopic equipment according to established protocols
    Anticipate procedural needs and contribute to efficient workflow
    Promote a safe, positive experience for patients throughout their care journe


     

    Qualifications


    High School Diploma or equivalent
    Surgical Technologist Certification required
    NBSTSA certification required
    Current OR or Ambulatory Surgery experience
