Nursing Assistant | Acute Care | Full-Time
Make a meaningful difference every shift by providing compassionate, hands-on care to patients in a supportive hospital environment. We’re seeking a dedicated Nursing Assistant who is passionate about patient comfort, safety, and teamwork.
Schedule: Full-Time | 3x12-Hour Shifts | Every Other Weekend & Holiday Rotation Required
What You’ll Do:
Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, feeding, mobility, and personal care
Take and record vital signs, monitor patient comfort, and report changes in condition promptly
Support rehabilitation and mobility needs including ambulation, transfers, ROM exercises, and positioning
Assist with meal setup, feeding, nourishment distribution, and documentation
Participate in hourly rounding and maintain a safe, healing environment for patients
Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary teams to support quality patient care
What You’ll Bring:
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Post-secondary education in Health or Human Services preferred
1–2 years of customer service or healthcare-related experience preferred
BLS certification through AHA or RQI required
Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
Basic computer literacy and patient-centered mindset
