Job Description:The Global Financial Crimes Threat Identification & Liaison Executive is a recognized expert on financial crime National Priority areas (corruption, cybercrime and misuse of virtual currencies, terrorist financing, fraud, transnational organized crime and third-party money laundering, drug trafficking organizations, human trafficking/human smuggling, and proliferation financing) and is responsible for the direction and development of enterprise-wide financial crime risk management practices consistent with applicable laws, rules, regulations and regulatory guidance. Key responsibilities include identifying and assessing emerging financial crime threats and typologies, providing strategic advisory support to Front Line Unit and Control Function leaders and Compliance and Operational Risk Officers, facilitating information sharing across stakeholders, and maintaining external partnerships to strengthen threat intelligence and public-private collaboration.

Job expectations include exercising significant independent judgment and decision-making in evaluating complex and evolving risks, directing proactive threat identification efforts, influencing enterprise risk management strategies, and ensuring significant threats and trends are effectively communicated, understood, and addressed across the organization.Responsibilities:Leads the enterprise identification and assessment of emerging financial crime threats, typologies, and illicit finance risks, providing strategic direction on risk mitigation prioritiesDirects relationships with law enforcement, regulatory agencies, and industry organizations to enhance intelligence sharing, public-private collaboration, and threat awarenessOversees the translation of internal and external intelligence into actionable threat assessments, targeted risk analyses, and strategic recommendationsAdvises senior executives and governance forums on significant financial crime threats, regulatory developments, and emerging risk trends impacting the enterpriseDrives enhancements to financial crime prevention, detection, monitoring, and surveillance capabilities through partnership with business, risk, and investigations teamsOversees financial crime risk governance activities, including reporting, issue management, remediation oversight, and escalation of significant risks and concernsReviews and challenges risk management frameworks, controls, assessments, and coverage strategies to ensure effective management of financial crime and sanctions risksRequired Qualifications:10+ years of experience in Global Financial Crimes, Compliance, Operational Risk, or related risk management disciplinesBachelor's degree or equivalent work experienceExperience identifying, assessing, and mitigating financial crime risks through threat detection, monitoring, and investigative practicesDemonstrated knowledge of financial crime typologies, emerging threats, and regulatory expectations related to anti-money laundering, fraud, economic sanctions, and illicit finance risksExperience developing and leveraging relationships with law enforcement, regulatory, and industry partners to support information sharing and public-private collaborationStrong executive presence with the ability to influence and communicate effectively with senior leaders, government agencies, law enforcement partners, and external stakeholdersProven ability to analyze complex data, identify trends and insights, and communicate recommendations Strong critical-thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with the ability to exercise sound judgment in a dynamic risk environmentProficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and PowerPoint, and experience leveraging data analytics and emerging technologies to support risk management objectivesSkills:Financial Crimes Risk ProgramsRisk Identification & AssessmentCredible ChallengeAML Regulatory KnowledgeRegulatory ComplianceRegulatory RelationsRisk Monitoring & TestingStrategy Planning and DevelopmentChange ManagementIssue ManagementPolicies, Procedures, and Guidelines ManagementFraud ManagementInvestigation ManagementDecision MakingWritten CommunicationsShift:1st shift (United States of America)Hours Per Week: 40 Learn more about this role Apply × To proceed with your application, you must be at least 18 years of age.
