Skills and Responsibilities

·4-Yeardegreeinrelatedfieldor3-10yearsofrelatedexperience

·Experienceintheinstallgroundwaterandsurfacewaterinstrumentationsystemsinandaround dams, levees and CCR sites for the collection of real time data collection/performance monitoring

oInstrumentationandmaintenancewillinclude–inclinometers,waterqualityequipment(pH, ORP, DO, turbidity, conductivity), portable solar battery charging stations and cellular and satellite communication systems

·Experienceinexecutingfieldinvestigationsutilizingvariousdrillingmethodsandresources

·Experiencewithsoilandrocklogging,monitoringwellconstruction,groundwatermonitoring,and field data reporting

·4.Experienceinprovidingtechnicalandsafetyoversighttodrillingcontractorandconsultants

Special Notes

·Typical Worker/Geologist work week is 4, 10 hour days (Monday - Thursday) with some 10 day shifts.

·ExtensivetravelthroughoutthesoutheasternUnitedStatesmainlyGeorgia,AlabamaandMississippi.
