Genesis Service Manager
We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Service Manager to lead our Genesis service department. The Service Manager will oversee daily service operations, develop and coach service advisors and technicians, maintain high customer-satisfaction standards, and drive departmental profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the Genesis service department.
- Lead, coach, and develop service advisors, technicians, and support staff.
- Monitor service department performance, including labor sales, hours per RO, customer-pay revenue, and profitability.
- Ensure an exceptional luxury-vehicle ownership experience for Genesis customers.
- Handle escalated customer concerns and resolve service issues professionally.
- Maintain strong relationships with customers and encourage retention and repeat business.
- Ensure repairs are completed accurately, efficiently, and according to manufacturer standards.
- Monitor technician productivity, efficiency, and workflow.
- Work closely with the Parts Department, Sales Department, and dealership leadership.
- Ensure compliance with Genesis manufacturer requirements, dealership policies, and applicable regulations.
- Review department reports and establish goals for revenue, CSI, retention, and profitability.
- Support recruiting, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of automotive service-management or service-advisor leadership experience.
- Previous dealership experience strongly preferred.
- Luxury or premium automotive experience is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of dealership service operations and repair processes.
- Excellent customer-service and communication skills.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Strong understanding of departmental financial and performance metrics.
- Valid driver''s license and acceptable driving record.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
