Our client is a leading provider of Design and Turn-Key Installations for standby power systems. Sales, Service, Rental and Fabrication. They are committed to delivering exceptional service to our clients, and we are looking for a skilled Generator Technician to join their team.

**Job Description:**

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Generator Technician to perform maintenance, repairs, and installations of generators for our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background with experience working on a variety of generator makes and models.

Day shift position Monday thru Friday 8a-5p. Rotating on call nights and weekends.

Pay is DOE $25-40 per hour

**Responsibilities:**

Experience with 2000KW generators or larger

- Perform routine maintenance on generators, including oil changes, filter replacements, and coolant checks.

- Diagnose and repair generator issues, such as engine failure, electrical malfunctions, and fuel system problems.

- Install new generators and ensure they are properly connected and functioning.

- Test generators to ensure they are in good working order and meet client specifications.

- Keep detailed records of all maintenance and repair work performed on generators.

**Requirements:**

- High school diploma or equivalent. Technical or associates degree highly preferred

- Certification or training in generator repair and maintenance.

 Electrical Generator Systems Technician Certification as apprentice or journeyman highly preferred

- At least 3 years of experience working as a generator technician.

- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
