L&A Utility Solutions Inc. is actively hiring a skilled
Generator Technician who knows their craft and takes pride in keeping critical infrastructure online. If you can diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial/industrial generators independently, we want to talk to you.
You will be working on telecom facilities, utilities, and other essential operations throughout the region. This is not light residential work — this is mission-critical equipment where performance matters.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Perform preventive maintenance on commercial and industrial standby generators
- Diagnose and repair diesel and natural gas generator systems
- Troubleshoot ATS, controls, batteries, fuel systems, and electrical components
- Respond to service calls and emergency outages when needed
- Maintain professional documentation and customer communication
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience working on commercial/industrial generators
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting ability
- Ability to read schematics and wiring diagrams
- Self-starter who can work independently in the field
- Clean driver’s license
- Willingness to respond to emergency service calls when required
Manufacturer certifications (Cummins, Generac, Kohler, CAT, etc.) are a strong plus.
