Generator Service Technician

This is a field-based territory where you'll work from home, take your service truck directly to customer sites, and be supported by a nationwide network of parts, technical resources, and experienced teammates.

What You'll Do

• Perform preventative maintenance on commercial and industrial generator systems
• Troubleshoot and repair diesel-powered generators ranging from approximately 5kW to 4MW
• Diagnose electrical, engine, control, and Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) issues
• Perform load testing, inspections, and emergency service calls
• Read electrical schematics and technical manuals
• Build strong relationships with customers throughout your assigned territory
• Participate in an on-call rotation supporting critical power customers

What We're Looking For

We're interested in technicians who enjoy solving problems in the field and take pride in keeping critical facilities operating.

Ideal backgrounds include:

• Commercial or industrial generator service
• Diesel engine diagnostics and repair
• ATS troubleshooting and repair
• Electrical controls and power generation systems
• Field service experience working independently

Experience with manufacturers such as Cummins, CAT, Kohler, MTU, Generac, Caterpillar, or similar platforms is highly valued.
