- Design, configure, and support generator control, excitation, synchronization, turbine governor, and protection systems for power generation facilities.
- Develop control narratives, functional specifications, electrical drawings, relay settings, protection logic, and system documentation.
- Integrate generator controls and protection systems with PLC, DCS, SCADA, HMI, and plant automation platforms.
- Configure, program, and test protective relays, excitation systems, and related control equipment using applicable tools and test equipment.
- Perform system studies, validation, FAT/SAT testing, commissioning, startup support, and operational acceptance testing.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues, analyze operating data and relay events, and recommend corrective actions to improve reliability and performance.
- Provide field support, customer training, and technical assistance during outages, upgrades, commissioning, and emergency response activities.
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline, preferably with an emphasis in Power Systems. [Generator...s Engineer | Word], [Generator...n Engineer | Word]
Experience
- 5+ years of experience in generator controls, protection engineering, power system automation, or power generation systems.
- Experience with generator excitation systems, turbine controls, synchronization systems, and protective relaying.
- Experience in utility, industrial, EPC, or power generation environments.

- Generator control and excitation systems
