Summary
The General Warehouse Associate is responsible for supporting and maintaining all aspects of warehouse fulfillment and operation. This includes but is not limited to the following: the distribution of raw materials, merchandise, and all other products received in the warehouse; supporting production, shipping, and receiving of materials; quality control, and all other duties as assigned.
Essential Duties
- Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup
- Manage, organize, and retrieve materials for shipping
- Package finished product for shipping (boxing, labeling, and the like)
- Assist in maintaining inventory and report any discrepancies
- Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules, and regulations
- Responsible for the maintenance of the warehouse daily
- Observe and follow safety procedures
- Other tasks and duties that may arise to meet Driveline's business needs
Education and Experience Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Current forklift license preferred
- Positive, self-starter attitude
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to use power tools
- Willing and able to lift and carry up to 80 pounds
- Familiarity with warehousing practices and methods
