General Warehouse Associate (Packing & Repacking)
Position Summary
The General Warehouse Associate is responsible for unpacking, inspecting, sorting, repacking, and preparing cereal products for distribution. This position requires attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment, and adherence to all safety and quality standards.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Unpack cereal products from cartons, cases, or pallets.
- Inspect products and packaging for damage, defects, or quality issues.
- Sort and organize products according to customer and production requirements.
- Repack cereal products into designated packaging and display units.
- Label, seal, and prepare finished products for shipment.
- Stack, palletize, and wrap completed orders.
- Maintain production quotas while ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with food safety standards.
- Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
- Assist with general warehouse and production duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift up to 35-50 pounds as needed.
- Ability to bend, twist, reach, and perform repetitive hand motions.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to work in a team environment and follow instructions.
- Previous warehouse, packaging, production, or manufacturing experience is a plus but not required.
Work Environment
- Food production and warehouse environment.
- Fast-paced setting with repetitive tasks.
- May require overtime and weekend work based on production needs.
- Must adhere to all safety, sanitation, and quality standards.
