GENERAL TRADES TECHNICIAN 


Retail Mechanical Solutions (RMS) is looking for a dependable, skilled General Trades Technician to join our team. 


Pay: $25 - $32/hour, depending on experience (DOE) 


We’re looking for someone who is comfortable working with their hands, solving problems, and handling a variety of repair and maintenance tasks in commercial and retail facilities. If you take pride in your work, show up when you say you will, and can figure things out without needing someone to stand over you, we want to talk to you. 


What You’ll Do 

• General commercial repairs and maintenance
• Drywall repair and patching
• Painting and touch-ups
• Door, lock, and hardware repairs
• Ceiling tile and grid repairs
• Minor carpentry and fixture repairs
• Basic plumbing repairs
• Assembly and installation work
• Troubleshoot facility issues
• Complete service calls at customer locations
• Maintain a clean and professional work area
• Communicate clearly with customers and the RMS team

What We’re Looking For
 

• Experience in general maintenance, construction, handyman work, or the skilled trades
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently
• Dependable and professional
• Good communication skills
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
• Ability to safely use hand and power tools
• Willingness to learn and take on different types of work
