Selby Community Primary School is National Support School and judged 'good' by Ofsted (April 2022). We are looking to recruit a skilled teaching assistant to join our team here at Selby Community Primary School, the vacancy could either be in Early Years or in Key Stage 2 depending on the skills and experience of the successful candidate. Please do state on your application where you feel your skill set is.
The ideal candidate will be open to working with children both on a small group basis developing relationships and supporting children to access a broad and balanced curriculum. The candidate should have the motivation to develop themselves professionally and collaborate with others as well as the ability to develop strong relationships with parents and others.
The successful candidate will have the ability to provide a high-quality learning experience as well as the enthusiasm and energy to engage and motivate all pupils.
The post will be offered initially on a fixed term basis, as it is linked to funding (and is subject to a 3 month probationary period)
