POSITION
Hospital-employed General Surgery PA
Join an established, high-volume surgical practice alongside Dr. Thomas Etter
Monday-Thursday clinic (8:00 AM-5:00 PM) and Friday (8:00 AM-Noon)
Typical clinic volume of approximately 15 patients/day
Assist with pre-operative evaluations, post-operative care, inpatient rounding, and surgical first assist
Opportunity to independently manage clinic patients while the surgeon is operating
Shared call with surgeon (approximately 10 call days/month)
Broad autonomy with physician support
SURGICAL EXPERIENCE
Heavy Da Vinci robotic surgery
Regional trauma experience
Breast surgery
Colon surgery
Thyroid surgery
Hernia repair (including complex hiatal hernias)
Upper GI surgery
Endoscopy
Broad-spectrum rural General Surgery rarely seen in today's practice
