About the Clinician‘s Workday The clinician will provide 24-hour inpatient call coverage for general surgery services at an established health system facility in North Carolina, with shifts running 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM. Coverage is required for October 9-12 and December 23-28, with nights and weekends included; no clinic duties are assigned. Primary responsibilities include performing emergent general surgery procedures such as appendectomy and cholecystectomy, averaging 15 patients per day and 8-16 OR cases per week. No ICU or critical care duties are required, and code response is not expected for this assignment.
