Salary Range:  $350,000 – $450,000

Job Summary: Physician duly licensed to practice medicine in Minnesota whose principal duties are to provide professional medical services, medical director administrative services, and staff supervision services in the surgery department as indicated. Provide medical directions for the department’s surgical activities and consultation for and medical supervision of the department’s healthcare staff.  Develop guidelines to be used regarding the provision of surgical services at the surgery department and the techniques employed.  Monitor and implementation of safety precautions related to surgical services.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current Minnesota Board Certified license
• Valid NPI number
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification
• Degree in Medicine and completed U.S. Medical Licensing Examination
• 2 years of experience practicing as a General Surgeon

Preferred Qualifications:

• Board certified in Surgery
