SUMMARY

TheGeneralSuperintendent-Electricalwillmanagethevariousprojectteammembersasitre-latestotheircraft.Establishstandards,training,leadershiptrainingfortheconstructionteamand department.ThispositionreportstotheFieldOperationsManageroranothermanagementper-sonnelthattheCEOoftheCompanymaydesignate.Thispositionishybrid,workingoutofyour homeandtheprojectsites,withstandard workinghoursfromMondaythroughFriday,from8:00

a.m.to 5:00p.m.or 9:00 a.m.to 6:00p.m.localtime.Thisposition mayrequire occasional over-time and weekend work asneeded. Expect totravel up to 100%,oras needed forthe project.

ESSENTIALJOBFUNCTION&RESPONSIBILITIES

•          Manageandleadtheelectricalsuperintendentsandtheircraftthroughoutthedurationof the project

•          Assistin developing detailedCPM schedules forallinstallation activitiesandin developing a schedule of values to aid the billing process

•          Coordinate activities, schedule, material procurement, project logistics, and temporary fa-cility plans with the project manager and field staff

•          Reviewandapprovematerials/equipmentforElectricalsystemsandmonitortheinstalla-tionandstartup ofthosesystems,resolving anyconflicts priortostarting work

•          PreparereportsandcommunicateprogresstoProjectManagers/Directorsasneeded,and to project Owners during weekly meetings

•          Reviewcontractdocumentsand makeimprovementssuggestionsasneeded

•          Supervise,develop,andmentorElectricalProjectEngineers

•          Supervise,review, andcoordinationofsubmittalsandshopdrawings

•          Collaborate withteam members when necessary to ensure effective communication and results;

•          Providecostestimation,includingbutnotlimitedto

•          Site DueDiligence-Evaluatepotentialprojectsites aspartofdevelopmentdue diligence

•         Identifyandprojectcostsrelatedtotime,materials,andlabor

•          Trackactualcostsandassesscosteffectivenessofproducts,projects,or services

•          Costreporting-Preparereportsregardingthecurrentstatusofaprojecttoshowestimated costs,revenues,andproject timeline

•          Perform other duties andspecial projects,asassigned bythe Director of Project Manage-ment

•          Travelupto100asneeded.

•          Regular attendance, in accordance withthecompany's attendance policyandsupervisory assignment, is an essential job duty requirementforthis position.

REQUIREDQUALIFICATIONS

•          7+years'experienceinSiteSupervision

•          ProventrackrecordasaSuperintendent onlargeprojectswithvaluesabove$20million (electrical portions of contracts)

•          Thoroughknowledgeof ConstructionCode

•          Mediumvoltageexperience

•          General understanding ofbuilding codes, mechanical codes,electrical codes, and plumbing codes as they relate to construction of project

 

•          Experiencedealingwithsubcontractsandsubcontractors

•          Minimumof 5-7years ofprofessionalexperiencemanagingthe performanceof majorpro-jects, preferably in the building of power stations or supply networks, or other utility-scale construction projects

•          Minimumof2years ofsolarPVorwindpowerprojectexperience,preferred

•         Industrialrelationsknowledgeforrecognizingandresolvingpotentiallaborissues
