Manufacturing Technician - Cleveland, OH - JOB 26-00369

Pay Rate: $18.00/HR Full-Time Permanent Position with Benefits
1st Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:40 PM (Monday – Friday)

Seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Manufacturing Technician / Circular Blade Operatorfor a premier manufacturing firm located on the West Side of Cleveland, OH. This entry-to-mid-level role is ideal for individuals with a strong mechanical aptitude who want hands-on experience in machine setup, component preparation, and specialized technical production. You will receive comprehensive, on-the-job training to master our proprietary process for producing and reconditioning industrial circular cutting blades.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare metal machinery frames for finishing and painting by deburring, degreasing, and cleaning parts.
  • Support daily machine shop operations by safely cutting metal and production materials to exact lengths using industrial saws.
  • Drill and tap holes accurately according to blueprints, technical drawings, or supervisor layouts.
  • Assist experienced operators with machine tools, including metal lathes, milling machines, band saws, and drill presses.
  • Perform basic machine setups, take precise measurements, and complete routine quality checks under direct supervision.
  • Assemble and fit components properly; palletize, secure, and plastic-wrap completed machinery for safe freight shipment.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace; follow all safety protocols and utilize required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED is required. Technical school, trade school, or machine shop training is highly preferred.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with the baseline ability to read and interpret simple technical drawings, blueprints, or written layouts.
  • Prior experience using basic hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment (preferred, but we will train the right candidate).
  • High reliability, strong communication skills, and the ability to follow instructions precisely.
  • Ability to stand for the duration of an 8-hour shift and safely lift up to 50 lbs.
